As of 2006 Riyadh has 13 Philippine non-public schools and Jeddah has 5 Philippine personal schools. Special education teachers work with students with disabilities, and they achieve their qualifications through a four-year program during which they choose a specialization in a selected type of incapacity. Special education lecturers are paid 30% greater than mainstream classroom teachers. This pay improve has led to more college students choosing particular education as their major at college.
